Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City is one of pickleball's quiet capitals. The public courts at Fairmont Park, Liberty Park, and Sugarhouse run all day on summer weekends, and the suburbs (Sandy, Draper, Bluffdale) keep building new ones. Park City's resort scene runs heavy in summer.

For year-round indoor play, The Picklr (which started in Utah) has multiple Wasatch Front locations, and SportyPickle plus Wardle Fields cover the south end of the valley. The Jewish Community Center, the YMCA, and several rec centers offer drop-in. Most outdoor courts here have full sun and no lights, so check Fairmont and Liberty in the mornings.

Mountain views, friendly crowds, courts everywhere. Hard to beat.
